Day 1. Eli meeting the pack. No work to be done today just lots of butt sniffing and decompressing.

Over the next few week Eli was train in basic obedience and to manage his excitement levels. Eli was placed with PawsitiveDawg.com from a shelter and paid for by a single donator. The kind donator paid for Eli to stay with Pawsitive Dawg and not return to the shelter until he was adopted.

Eli became like one of the family and even helped train some of the more sensitive dogs by showing them what confidence looks like.

After nearly a year, Eli's day came when a family wanted to meet him. They had a 5 year old sensitive and dog-reactive chihuahua so it was important that Eli's energy was right. It was a match and the family, who is the founder of DogsTrainHome.com, welcomed Eli into their home.

After adopting Eli and hearing how the good samaritan and Isaac the owner of PawsitveDawg.com looked out for him, it got me thinking, how could I help Isaac and other dogs. And so DogsTrainHome.com was created to help train dogs and to give them a better chance at staying in a forever home, and also to help grow the business of the graduates coming out of a prison dog training program.
