🐾 Reentry - First 90 Program

Why It Matters

The first 90 days after release are often the hardest, and even a little help can mean the difference between falling back or moving forward. Our Reentry Support Program is designed for individuals returning home with a prison dog training certificate—or those who want to start a new career as a dog trainer now that they are out.

With our First 90 program we provide practical support to ease the transition, like prepaid bus cards, grocery store gift cards to cover meals while getting settled, and clothing. We assist with parole letters to help with work or travel, and offer mentorship check-ins with someone who understands the journey.

For just $20 per month you can provide one month of support to help a person take the next steps toward stability and success. Donate now!

🐾 DTH Graduation Program

Certified trainers, formerly incarcerated individuals who completed prison dog training programs, are carefully matched with rescue dogs from our partner organizations. We cover the cost of the private training sessions, giving the trainer paid, hands-on experience while helping the dog become more adoptable. Rescues commit to weekly sessions until the dog’s training is complete. Once adopted, the new family also receives two free transition sessions to set them up for success and creating another contact with owner and trainer.

In addition, we maintain strong relationships with dog training schools and local parks that hire, creating direct pathways to employment and long-term careers for our members.

For just $40 per month you can provide one month of support to help a person take the next steps toward stability and success.
